Well it's New Years Eve 2023, Sharon, Nigel and the kids went home yesterday and it was Riley's Birthday on Friday, but you know that as I saw you shining down on him. You would be so shocked to hear that I'm going out to work this evening, I know right!! I know we both agreed that NYE was not as much fun as it used to be, hence why we both gave it up, but we brought a new table and chairs and with a few other small bills that are coming in during Jan so had to go to work to pay for them. To that I know you would have said, "well Paul if you need to do that, go and do it" It will be a really hard night for me to do, and at the strike of mid night, I know I'm going to have a cry but that's OK. You will be in my thoughts all night, and yes I have the CD that you burned off for me about 500 times, I have converted it into a MP3 this morning with the help of Riley. I can't say it's Happy New Year, cos it's really not, but you know what I mean. We will will look after Mum like you asked (well told us to), and you look after Nan, Pap and Ken. I will be phoning Graham on New Years Day morning to speak to them, and we all know he will say the same......not really a Happy New Year. Love & Miss you Dad xxxxxxx
